Two-thousand-and-fourteen was a very exciting year for Summit County real estate. We saw overall numbers increase. The town of Dillon specifically saw an overall increase for residential sales in 2014 compared to 2013. The total number of residential sales in Dillon for 2014 was 186 in comparison to 2013 with 169. That’s an increase of 10%.
It was a busy summer for Dillon in 2014! Most residential sales happened from July to October. July closed in sales at 22, August and October tied at 25 and September beat them all at with 31 closed sales! The year started out strong with January producing seven sales but scaled back in February closing with four sales – the lowest month in 2014.
The average sale price for residential properties in Dillon for 2014 was $399,089 in comparison to 2013 at $355,658. Increasing the sales price by 12%. Average days on the market went down in 2014 for Dillon residential properties. In 2014 properties stayed on the market an average of 139 days in comparison to 143 days in 2013. Decreasing days on the market by four days for residential properties in Dillon in 2014.
