Labor Day weekend celebrations will take place across Summit County this weekend! Enjoy live music, art festivals, fund raisers and firework shows at many of the events. Follow the schedules below before you miss out and let Real Estate of the Summit assist you in planning your weekend festivities!

Breckenridge

The Great Divide Art Festival begins on Saturday from 10 AM – 6 PM and continues through Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM – 4 PM! Over 100 artists will be present to showcase their creations in the Wellington Lot! After browsing the booths, head downtown for great deals at the Breckenridge Sidewalk Sales!

Don’t miss the Great Rubber Duck Race this Labor Day on Saturday, September 5th and bring the kids! This is the biggest annual fundraiser for The Summit Foundation each year. As many as 10,000 rubber ducks are dropped into the Blue River and float downstream to compete for an assortment of prizes!

Keystone

Oktoberfest will take place over Labor Day Weekend at Keystone on Saturday, September 5th in the River Run Village! Festivities will begin at 1:00 PM and continue on through 6:00 PM. Choose three of your favorite local craft beers from the beer garden with the purchase of a commemorative stein. Bring the children along, as activities for the kids are free and available all afternoon!

  • 3:00 – 3:30 PM: Edelweiss Polka Dancers

  • 4:30 – 5:00 PM: Edelweiss Polka Dancers
  • 5:00 – 6:00 PM: Those Austrian Guys

Copper

Celebrating the best of the American spirit this Labor Day, Copper Mountain will hold the annual labor day festival tradition this weekend! Enjoy two days packed with live performances, artist exhibits and activities for the kids! Stop by the Copper Campfire on Saturday night for live tunes with Randall McKinney and s’mores starting at 7:00 PM. Fireworks will follow at approximately 8:30 PM that night.

Each year, Copper attracts the Annual Country Showdown Awards, a competition that invites country musicians from around the country as they perform for a cash prize and career opportunities! The finals will take place on Sunday at 12:00 PM, followed by an awards ceremony at 6:40 PM!
