The USA Pro Cycling Challenge is quickly approaching and Arapahoe Basin, commonly referred to as A-Basin, will host the Stage 2 race finish for the first time in history!  The racers will emerge between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM.  Watch the cyclists from the Stage 2 Finish Festival place in the High Noon parking lot where there will be vendor tents, games, music and food!

“This event will bring together world-class cyclists, our dramatic mountain setting, the A-Basin culture and vibe and the passion and enthusiasm of our guests to create a dramatic mountaintop finish that we will be talking about for years,” said Alan Henceroth, A-Basin’s chief operating officer.

The week’s activities in Arapahoe Basin will kick off with a free concert at the Base Area Village on Monday, August 17th at 5:30 PM!  Brother’s Keeper will perform outdoors and will feature John Popper of Blues Traveler with special guest The Samples!  A second free show will take place the following night, Tuesday, August 18th at 5:30 PM.  Head down to the Base Area Village again to see the Freddy Jones Band with special guest Bonnie & the Clydes. Both shows run until roughly 10:00 PM!

Parking will not be available at Arapahoe Basin during race days.  Free shuttles will be running from Keystone from 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM.  Shuttles will resume once the race is finished from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Free parking is available at Keystone and shuttles pick up from Keystone’s River Run parking lot.  Come hungry to the race, food tents will be set up in the Festival Village.  Enjoy barbeque, pizza, steamed dumplings and more! Snacks, sodas and beer will also be available for purchase in the area.
