$10.25 Million Shock Hill Development Sale

The $10.25 million Shock Hill Development site closed Monday, May 18th and is ready for development.  The 6.67 acre plot of land, also known as Shock Hill Overlook, was purchased by local developer ROCA Holdings led by Chris Canfield.  This unique site is one of the last parcels of land still undeveloped near the base of Breckenridge Ski Resort.

Situated within one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Breckenridge, the Shock Hill Development parcel rests along the mid-gondola stop which provides quick access to the ski lifts as well as downtown Main Street.  Unparalleled views of the 10 Mile Range and Cucumber Gulch will make the upcoming duplex development extremely desirable among owners and renters visiting the area. Outstanding views of downtown Breckenridge can also be enjoyed from the East edges of the subdivision.

The Shock Hill Development is located in close proximity to endless trail systems.  Outdoor activities for future owners include, but are not limited to, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.  The wetland areas are home to many species of wildlife and are a great place to view them in their natural habitat.

“This is an extremely unique parcel of land,” Canfield explained.  “It’s close to the Cucumber Gulch Reserve.  It’s by the gondola mid-load station and its right in the heart of a prestigious neighborhood.  The topography sets it up for very creative, appealing development.”

Double Diamond Construction of Breckenridge has been hired to construct the future Shock Hill Development.  Expectations for very high-end developments are already in place to compliment the already completed luxury properties found throughout the Shock Hill neighborhood.
